Special Legislative Session Governor Charlie Crist just announced that there will be a three day special session starting on July 20th. The Governor wants lawmakers to approve a constitutional amendment to ban offshore drilling, that would be placed on the November 2010 ballot. Upon signing the proclamation Crist told reporters "I think it's important that we put this into our constitution. Certainly, I think it's important that we give the people of Florida the opportunity to make this call." We will send you more details as they are released.
