Today, the Florida House and Senate fulfilled their commitment to give relief to Florida employers.  Both Chambers passed the Unemployment Compensation Relief Act .  The bill is on its way to the Governor’s desk for his signature.  Many of you reached out to your legislators and shared the impact unemployment compensation tax increases would have on your company.  Today’s bill was passed in response to your concerns.    Governor Crist, Senate President Atwater, and Speaker Cretul have shown great leadership on this issue, and we appreciate their efforts.  We are also grateful for the efforts of Representatives Dave Murzin and Jennifer Carroll and Senator Rudy Garcia, the sponsors of this legislation.   If you have any questions please contact me by email or at (850) 222-4082.
